Fluorescence in Smart Textiles

چکیده
Fluorescence has been identified as an advantageous feature in smart fabrics, notably for the protection of humans during outdoor athletic activities, well preventing counterfeiting and determining authenticity. fabrics is achieved using dendrimers, rare earth metal compounds, fluorescent dye. The principal method producing to immerse sample a solution containing agents. However, covalent connections between fluorophores textile substates should be established improve stability intensity characteristics. Fabric can throughout, or fibers woven directly into structures, made natural (cotton, silk) synthetic (polyamide- polyester-based) fibers, precise pathway that becomes visible under ultraviolet irradiation.

Smart Textiles and Wearable Technology – A study of smart textiles in fashion and clothing
2 Foreword This report is the result of a study of the research field smart textiles, which has been carried out within the EU financed Baltic Fashion Project. The report gives an overview of projects combining smart textiles and clothing as a basis of discussions of how smart textile innovation could be introduced in fashion. The overview covers different projects, research as well as commerci...
متن کاملSmart Textiles in Vehicles: A Foresight
After technical textiles and functional textiles, also smart textiles came into force a few years ago. The term ‘smart textiles’ covers a broad range. The application possibilities are only limited by our imagination and creativity. This paper gives an overview of the functions that can be achieved by smart textiles in general. In vehicles as well, smart textiles can introduce new features. Two...
متن کاملSmart Textiles Toward a Wearable Motion System
This paper presents the development of an innovative measuring system devoted to the human movement analysis using smart textiles that are realized with electrically conductive elastomer composites (CEs). CEs show piezoresistive properties when a deformation is applied and in several applications CEs can be integrated into fabric or other flexible substrate as a strain sensor. Moreover, integra...
متن کاملSmart textiles prototyping: Participating with new ideas
This paper outlines our work with children who use our smart textiles construction kit in a “living lab”. Our constructionist approach to participatory design with children is inspired by Allison Druin’s “Cooperative Inquiry”. The main idea is to not only develop software and hardware for and with children, but more importantly to enable insight and a rich learning experience via deep involveme...
متن کاملFlexible Photovoltaic Textiles for Smart Applications
In recent years alternative renewable energies including that obtained by solar cells have attracted much attention due to exhaustion of other conventional energy resources especially fossil-based fuels. Photovoltaic energy is one of the cleanest, most applicable and promising alternative energy using limitless sun light as raw material. Even though, inorganic solar cells dominate in the world ...
